How the review rating works

Average rating

The rating is the arithmetic mean of published customer star ratings, rounded to one decimal place. Companies without reviews show no rating.

Review sources

Imported Google reviews retain their author, rating, text and company reply. Source locations and capture dates are displayed. They are not reviews submitted on ReviewDove or verified purchases.

Dates and updates

Google provides relative dates. These labels are preserved and approximate dates are used only for sorting and charts. Imports are a dated snapshot, not a live Google feed. New ReviewDove reviews update the company rating when published.
